Payment / Wallet / Payout Terms
Payments, wallet credits, Rewards, and Stripe Connect payouts.
Payment, Wallet and Payout Terms — Winstory
ARTICLE 1 — DISTINCT OBJECTS
Each sum has its own regime. A card payment, top-up credit, promotional credit, refund credit, the price P, an AI Studio debit, the Creator Reward, the Completer Reward, the Moderator Reward, a frozen entitlement, a Stripe Connect payout and the USDC deposit are not interchangeable.
ARTICLE 2 — CARD
Card payment is collected by Stripe. Winstory is not the payment institution. A rejection by the issuer does not open the service.
ARTICLE 3 — TOP-UP
A top-up credits spendable credit at Winstory. It is not presented as freely withdrawable cash. It is used to pay for Winstory services.
ARTICLE 4 — PROMOTIONAL CREDIT
Promotional credit is a benefit. It is not convertible into cash and may be subject to a displayed term. It does not pay a sum that the law forbids to be paid that way.
ARTICLE 5 — REFUND CREDIT
A refund may, where the law and the flow allow it, take the form of credit or of a repayment by the same means. The choice does not deprive the consumer of the statutory means.
ARTICLE 6 — PRICE P
P is the participation price. It is distinct from the AI Studio debit. P ≠ the AI Studio debit. Its entry into the Campaign is the state Funded.
ARTICLE 7 — AI STUDIO DEBIT
The AI Studio debit pays for a generation. It does not fund a Reward. Its refund follows conformity of that generation, not creative rejection.
ARTICLE 8 — CREATOR REWARD
The Creator Reward, if the scale provides for it, arises under the Campaign rules. It may be zero. It is not the price paid to create.
ARTICLE 9 — COMPLETER REWARD
The Completer Reward requires the required states. It is not guaranteed by payment of P alone.
ARTICLE 10 — MODERATOR REWARD
The Moderator Reward is distinct from the USDC deposit. Its monetary payout runs through Stripe Connect when it is in money.
ARTICLE 11 — FROZEN ENTITLEMENT
A frozen entitlement is a Reward recorded but not yet paid, for the time of the checks. It is not promotional credit and is not cancelled without a ground of fraud or obvious error.
ARTICLE 12 — STRIPE CONNECT
The canonical money payout uses Stripe Connect. The recipient completes the provider’s checks. Until they are complete, the payout waits, without extinguishing the right.
ARTICLE 13 — USDC DEPOSIT
The Moderator’s USDC deposit is not Wallet credit and is not a Reward. Its withdrawal follows the Moderator Terms.
ARTICLE 14 — CHARGEBACK
An abusive chargeback allows the related flows to be suspended and direct loss to be claimed. A legitimate consumer chargeback follows applicable law and is not, by itself, fraud.
ARTICLE 15 — WITHDRAWAL OF CREDIT
Spendable credit does not open a free bank withdrawal. The word withdrawal, in this module, means as the case may be the statutory refund or withdrawal of the USDC deposit, never an automatic conversion of every credit into cash.
ARTICLE 16 — NON-ACTIVATION
The non-activation refund of an individual Campaign covers P, not a generation already supplied, subject to conformity of that generation.
ARTICLE 17 — CONFORMITY
Failure to deliver a paid digital service opens the consumer’s statutory remedy. It is distinct from creative rejection.
ARTICLE 18 — WITHDRAWAL RIGHT
The consumer’s right of withdrawal is assessed operation by operation, under the Individual Terms. A Reward payout is not a purchase.
ARTICLE 19 — TAX
The recipient declares the recipient’s sums. Winstory does not give tax advice and does not add a withholding on its own initiative.
ARTICLE 20 — EVIDENCE
Stripe records, credits and timestamps are evidence, without being irrebuttable against a consumer.
ARTICLE 21 — ERROR
An obvious price error reported before performance may be corrected or the order cancelled. After performance that was requested, the correction does not undo conformity.
ARTICLE 22 — SUSPENSION
Payment fraud allows flows to be suspended. A Reward already earned by a good-faith third party is not forfeited for someone else’s fraud.
ARTICLE 23 — FORCE MAJEURE
Ordinary unavailability of Stripe is not force majeure. It may delay a payout without extinguishing the right.
ARTICLE 24 — SURVIVAL
Sums due, refunds that have arisen, Rewards earned, evidence and the recipient’s tax obligations survive.
